Biodiesel Ford Excursion "warm" cold start

After fueling up with biodiesel, I ran it into the system, and let it sit overnight. after the engine cooled off, I fired it up the next morning.

I have to ask, is it just straight cooking oil? Because if it is, that's not BioDiesel. BioDiesel has to go through the process of being converted (transesterfication) to be converted from regular cooking oil into BioDiesel.

Yeah, you're right. It is mixed with a half tank of #2 Ultra low sulfer diesel fuel though.

sounds good! and it seemed like it started a little faster i think. does it have any power difference with biodiesel?

As a matter of a fact, when I drove it, it seemed to have more power once the engine warmed up!

Not sure you should mix biodiesel with regular diesel
