Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) made a musical splash Memorial Day weekend in a performance with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra; it was later posted in a video clip on YouTube. Alexander performed a few tunes at the piano in NPR's Studio 4A.

It's nice to have an elected official that can play, but it sad TN doesn't support music like this enough (piano, "classical", ect.)--if you like country, you're set. Also, too bad he's such an AWFUL Senator. I'd love to stay in TN since my family has been here for about 250 years, but I can't take the ignorance anymore.
