I just happen to own one of these and they are absolutely stunning. The finish on these subs are awesome and it compliments my system great. The bass goes as low as you would ever need to go.I have the 15+ in black as the cherry color was not released in australia when i bought it(damm).The woofer itself is a sight to behold as the work that went into it must have been thought about cleverly.I played the bluray disc "2012" and the earthquake scene in chapter 6 blew me away and was loud.

You can adjust the amount of servo on this sub. More fir music and less on movies. Adjust between 1 and 8 i believe.

I see that the box size is also considerably larger than the old series as well, which would also contribute to the increased output. I'd be darned curious to know how the new DD-10+ would compare to the old DD-12. Although the DD-10+ might be capable of more output than the old model, that driver will be working a LOT harder than a 12" driver. I'm guessing that the capabilities would be fairly similar, although I'd love to hear Bruce Hall's thoughts.
