I preferred the original special effects, and I'm not referring to the Borg vessel. I mean the awesome 60s Enterprise! You can't "re-master" an utter masterpiece--try re-mastering the Mona Lisa...

I was half expecting Kirk to turn to one of the pretty yeoman girls and say, "I've shown you mine, now you need to show me yours..." as he was walking shirtless through the packed corridors of the Enterprise.
