  • I totally trust Jesus, which is why I am LDS. I don't need to rely on the unbiblical creeds of pagans, murderers and scripture burning politicians to determine my status as a Christain. Christ set forth the standards of a Christian very clearly in the New Testament and the LDS meet it plainly. No offense, but I do know I have a saving relationship with my Lord and Savior. God is not dead nor does he sleep. The Bible is God's word, but Christ is still speaking, Don't believe me? Go ask him.

  • @Steedlaw A couple of questions for you: Are all your sins forgiven? If you were to die today and be judged, would you go to the presence of the Father forever? Also, are you permitted to and do you actively enjoy having personal prayer to Jesus? It is odd to speak about having a personal relationship with someone that you're not allowed to directly talk to. Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

  • @aaronshaf2006 - Who said LDS people don't enjoy a relationship with Christ? Nonsense!. In the other hand, this young man obviously served in the Temple but knew little of the Gospel. When Jesus talks about destrying "this Temple" was talking about the temple of His body and if he reads the Scriptures he should know that. Even after the ascencion of Jesus Christ the Apostles served at the Temple so, Temple worship wasn't discontinued until it was destroyed by Romans

  • very good for u man !!! u found the truth ! this is very truth !!!

  • The only thing I want to mention here is that you speak as if actual animal sacrifices still take place in modern temples, which they don't. Christ atoned for all of us and in doing so rendered Mosaic law moot.

  • @jonathandavid33 OH my, you are really intersting. I was born in 68 and was18 in 85, I did not know my "site" said differently. I will have to go and fix it. I am sorry you were offensed as well. I mean there are a lot of guys out there that believe whatever they are told. You believed what they said. They said it because that is what they knew or they were tyring to make you feel better about it. But to say somethink like, "Yes, I was the ONE and ONLY." when you know better is not good either.

  • @tsulu2002

So on your site you say you are 35 and here you say you served as a full-time temple worker in '85, when you were 18. That would make you 9 years old at the time, not 18. That would also make you the youngest liar... I mean temple worker in the modern church. Hmmm. Big head? Look in the mirror and make sure it is not you. God Bless

  • @Steedlaw You do, however, rely on Joseph Smith who was influenced by Restorationism, Masonism and certain occult practices that were prevalent at the time. The problem you have is that you are reading the New Testament through the lense of Mormon doctrine; you are superimposing onto this text ideas derived from non-biblical sources. Where is "eternal marriage" or "blood atonement" or the idea that God the Father has a physical body found in the New Testament? No where! And they are contradicted

  • @Steedlaw I used to think that way I was LDS my hole life to untell I found ot the truth what I was and what you are your invoved in some thing that is not divinely inspired by God has no authority by Jesus Christ.

  • I was just 18 when I was full time worker. That was in '85. You really believed that stuff and even had a big head about it. It looks like you still have a big head about yourself. Nice speech and you made some good points. Good luck to you.
