You have no idea how helpful this video was. I'm new at this and bought a new cue and tip tool, but had no idea what to do. Thanks for saving me the embarrassment of asking one of the guys at the pool hall. I owe you big time.

@SirNoobs A willards scuffer is better for snooker cues as the size is more easily managed on your hand.

@sahilsheth I don't know too much about snooker cues, sorry. I've seen people use files and they generally file the tip in one direction. If anything, bring it to the snooker club/cue maker/pool hall/cue store and see if someone can help you out!

@SirNoobs - so what can i use to shape my cue tip ?? , i tried using sandpaper , but the finish is horrible and i think i have kinda screwed it up , plus the shape doesnt seem to be perfect !
