0700z Call - Part 2
Original Description:
PresentedIn4D caught this one tonight at about 0500z on 4.125 USB. I didn't catch the beginning, but I did still catch a lot of the information going to Bermuda radio and the USCG. At the end you can hear his batteries going dead and distortion coming into the audio from too low voltage. I will put up other parts if they do come back at 0900z.
The ship name may be "Al" or "Elle". More likely "Elle".
This is a single sideband ICOM M710 transmitting at 150 W. I am the owner of this boat. Its actually "ELLE" not 'AL'. The boat was my home... and it is now lost. I am now home in Minneapolis. At least everyone is alive. That's really all that matters.
Over and out.

@Fosashton Glad to hear everyone is safe and sorry about your boat. If you do sail again, remember there's always somebody listening and people are more than welcome to help out. I would also recommend you guys get your ham radio licenses so you can talk on the 14.300 maritime net where they handle general traffic and maritime emergencies. If you couldn't get into USCG, or Bermuda radio, hams would be your best choice. If you're in an emergency, you don't even need a ham radio license.
