I photographed these Special Ops practicing this High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) jump in Feb. 2006, using a Panasonic DVX100A.

This was a training mission used for the Air Force's "Do Something Amazing" campaign. Also, thank you to all US military service personnel past and present. My father (Ret. USAF Major) was an intelligence officer, specialized in Russian language and culture: 1958-1980.

  • it must be absolutely awesome to be able to run and jump out of the plane this way!!! All the civilian jumps that are offered, have very small planes and you cant jump out of a cargo hull!
