PC's are PERSONAL COMPUTERS jesus. Apple Makes PC's and are usualy referred to as Macs. Windows is NOT a PC it is an OS (operating system) developed my Microsoft. Microsoft does NOT create PC's. And Mac no longer needs to be ported to intel chips because apple now uses intel processors. Its still really hard to install OS X on anything besides a mac due t driver issues and kernel issues. Thats one reason OS X runs so well is because Apple made it to run on only hardware that Apple chooses.

@GEMDrummeRotflol No, Linux would be mankind. Linux does what it wants, when it wants and sometimes doesn't work very well, but when those times come along, it gets help from another linux and fixes it's problem most of the time.

@MitjaFelicijan He means you have to customise it and stuff. I'm guessing your linux wasn't as it is now when you got it out of the box, you probably had to do a lot of tweeking to set it up.

Macs however are idiotproof and idiot oriented.

actually PC means personal computer and does not have anything to do with windows. Either if you have an Apple computer that runs Mac OS or a windows computer both of them would be still PC's. There are different types of computers for different uses but the OS they run does not categorize them into macs and PCs.For example a Server Computer would not be the same thing as a Personal Computer because u wont use a server computer for personal use at your home.So windows and mac computers are PCs.

@MaxwellMonroe well now ... this is not entirely the truth ... I have a PC and Linux on it and I dont have to put loads of attention so I can use my computer ... frankly I just use it and that's it ... dumb people will do dumb stuff ... the end of story ;)
