@StinksOnIce22 he wasnt on the mound...

@StinksOnIce22 Your right on that. A pitcher cannot touch the dirt on any part of the mound without the ball after the previous pitch was thrown or previous play is over. But, he was standing on the backside of the mound and wasn't touching the mound so it wasn't a balk. We ran this play all the time in highschool and when i got to college. The runner was safe yes. But the ump called him out. Prolly one of the worst calls i have ever seen but it was a legit hidden ball trick. Works every time

@StinksOnIce22 clearly he's behind the mound, not a balk... a blown call, yes, but not a balk.
-
@StinksOnIce22 No that is not a balk. You can clearly see the pitcher is standing behind the mound the entire time. He does not ever touch the dirt of the mound...which makes it legal. No balk.

The pitcher is not on the mound. Voted Down.

@StinksOnIce22 You would be correct, except you can clearly see the pitcher isn't on the mound around :51, therefore it's not a balk.

@StinksOnIce22 he's not even on the mound

@StinksOnIce22 the pitcher isn't on the mount, he'S behind it

Who's the ump? Jim Joyce?
that was not close at all. he was way safe. and what's the point of replay. i mean they have a 40 foot screen in center field that couldn't make the play mor obvious. just look at that screen.

One: guy was safe by a mile
Two: Its not a balk, you need to be touching the rubber to commit a balk, pitcher never was.
Three: 2nd base umpire has no reason to be looking in that direction, as it is a trick play, he should be looking where he thinks the ball is.
