Open Labs' Tech Support Specialist Chris Brown shows ways you can take samples from other songs into your own beats. This video shows how you can use Reaper 3 to do so. Taken from O-Live, Open Labs' daily webcast. For more info go to www.openlabs.com/webcast or www.openlabs.com/faq

  • It seems like the better way to splice the loop is to use Guru so you wouldn't have to find the bpm of the sample. After you splice then you could assign the samples to the pads of guru, set the tempo, and play the pad to create you patterns or song. Can you tell whether or not you should install an Anti-virus on my neko since it is susceptible to viruses infection? I don't use other people flash drives, but i do download software off the Net.

  • it looks like a better way with native instruments maschine

  • Hey Chris, thanks for the lesson man. It is much appreciated ! open Labs is the best ! Can't touch that !
