Scandalous S1 E12

Ellie: "Uh, n-no." I bit my lip, a nervous habit, and the nurse looked at me curiously. I looked at Noah. He didn't even seem to notice what we were talking about. I sighed in relief. When the nurse was ready to perform the exam Noah was asked to leave. It was bad enough I had to talk about what happened all over again but to have somebody touch me down there soon after...that was too much. But I knew that if I didn't do the exam then James would still be out there. What if he did this to another girl? I wouldn't ever be able to forgive myself. What a scumbag. Noah was the only boy I had ever had sex with and I planned on keeping it that way for a while, I love my daughter to pieces but at 17 one kid is enough, I was only 16 when I got pregnant after all. Once Noah left the nurse continued to look at me weirdly. "What's wrong?" I asked her.
Nurse: "I'm 25 Ellie. I still remember what it was like to be a teenager and I can tell you are lying. I need to know, Ellie. Are you pregnant?"
Ellie: "What?! No, I'm not pregnant..."
Nurse: "You're hiding something. I'm your nurse, whatever you tell me is completely confidential."
Ellie: "I..I have a daugher. She's 5 months old. He doesn't know about Ava."
Nurse: "If you don't mind me asking, you go to boarding school so where is your daughter?"
Ellie: "With my mom in Jersey."
Nurse: "You need support from your friends at a time like this and he seems like a good friend, why doesn't he know?"
Ellie: "Because he's the father."
Nurse: "Oh my."
Ellie: "Yeah..."

(1 hour later - Outside Ellie's room)

Ellie: "You've done enough for me already, you don't have to stay."
Noah: "I know but I just cannot imagine leaving you right now."
Ellie: "Thank you, Neeter."
Noah: He laughed and scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Has that nickname always sounded so stupid?"
Ellie: "I think we've both grown up a bit since then."
Noah: "Yeah."
Ellie: I turned the door nob and Noah followed me in. "Whoa, we'll just come back another time!"
Noah: "Huh?" He looked at Dani's bed where they were making out. Evan's shirt was off and Dani's was about to come off. "Oh my eyes!"
Ellie: Dani's eyes shot open and she looked like a deer in the headlights, Evan just chuckled. I grabbed Noah's hand and let him outside the room. "Lounge?"
Noah: "Lounge."

(Lounge)

Noah: "Have you told your mother?"
Ellie: I was confused but then I realized what he was talking about. "No."
Noah: "Are you going to?"
Ellie: "No."
Noah: "Elle..."
Ellie: "What? I don't want her to worry."
Noah: "Okay."
Ellie: "Thanks for reminding me about her though, be right back...gotta check in with her."
Noah: "Did you guys get closer or something because you're always calling her? You two use to never talk."
Ellie: "Um, yeah you could say that. I'm just going to go out in the hall for a second."
Noah: "And let you get...ya know..again?! I don't think so." (Lame excuse but I didn't understand why she always left to call her."
Ellie: I rolled my eyes, knowing exactly what he was doing. "Hey mom," I said into my cell phone.
EM: "Hey sweetie, Ava's in a good mood today, she's all giggly."
Ellie: "Aww, what a cutie. Ur..guess who i'm sitting with right now?"
EM: "Ellie, please don't tell me you told him."
Ellie: "No,no." I tried to make it seem like she guessed wrong but still answering her question. "It's Noah!"
EM: "I know who it is, Ellie."
Ellie: "Noah, say hi to my mom." I handed the phone to Noah and he looked at me like I was crazy. Any chance to get off the phone with her and her questions.
Noah: "Hello Mrs. Stewart."
EM: "Hi Noah, how are you?"
Noah: "I'm good, glad to see Ellie again. And yourself? Ellie tells me she just got a new baby sister a few months ago. You must be exhausted."
EM: "I'm doing okay."
Noah: "Well, I'd love to meet the little angel."
Ellie: "OHHHH kay!" I grabbed the phone from him and put it back up to my ear. "Hey again Mom, we're going to watch a movie now. Tell Avie I love her." I quickly hung up the phone.
Noah: "So her name is Avie?"
Ellie: This was so weird, talking to Noah about our baby and he doesn't even know it's HIS own child we are talking about. Very very awkward. "Nickname. Her real name is Ava."
Noah: "Wow, that's a pretty name."
Ellie: "That's why I chose it." Shit. "I mean..my mom she..she let me name her."
Noah: "Oh, that's cool. So what movie would you like to watch?"
Ellie: "I'm not really in the mood for a movie, I was just telling my mom that."
Noah: "Okay. Wanna play a game?"
Ellie: "Like what?"
Noah: "I don't know. Truth or Dare...I've Never..Would You Rather? Or just a board game? It's up to you."
Ellie: "Games? What are we..13 again?"
Noah: "Hey! You and I both know that you love games so don't even try to sound cooler than you actually are."
Ellie: I laughed, he always made me feel like a kid again. "Okay, let's play a game then."
