Let me ask somebody a serious question though , is it uncommon for a vet to diagnose demodectic mange when its readlly Sarcoptic Mange?

We just saved a BEAUTIFUL mastiff with severe demodex mange, in Sydney, Australia. She was SO ILL when I picked her up. It's is a long way from perfect, but after two months we are FINALLY atrting to see some improvements. It's just so heartbreaking to see them in so much pain. I made a video for her, it's called Marilyn the Mastiff (on youtube)... Would love for you to have a look <3

@yullios I would never expose my pugs or any other dog to a dog with contagious mange. the kind of mange she had was demodectic which is not contagious. Sarcoptic mange is the the one you are thinking of and it IS contagious to other animals and people. i hope your pug gets better too.
