Zeng he later in his life converted to Buddhism He converted to Buddhism and became a disciplein Buddhism by Monk Yao Guangxia, by the name of Sanbao.
Correction not muslim but a Buddhist admiral.

The west habit always to deny anything eastern people achievment. CHENG HO was the greatest ADMIRAL ever. He dared to explore the sea where no one ever dare to do. The CHINES had very rich culture richer than the WESTERN WORLD together.
