  • hey man nice. still as your just learning have a look at victor wootens double thumping style. he's got a whole lot of vids that might help.

  • thx, tried that double thumping lately but its very difficult to get it "under the thumb" but i liked the vids of victor very much and many other bass players i watched hear, just makes me wanna play and learn more on the bass and these vids or sureley a great help for me

  • its just slapping in e and a adding now and then a g thats all, its not about the cords but the percussive or the slapping effect in a various rythme, i hope this will answere your question, I'm just figuring out myself some of this stuff

  • it sounds either or... but you must have well-taken care of with your right hand, you must arm it a little... and it remembers that to touch fast it is not first, first it is to arm themselves and to have a good base well to begin to touch the low appraised one;) single it continues practicing man, you go well... ah. and when I touch slap in a video it deals with not inserting effects to the sound of the low one. bye!

i dont understand the translation.. this is from google translator..

  • i think i understand a little what you mean , speed isn't everything , and use the low e string more , i am still learning and will keep learning , thx for your comment

  • hey bro. I'll NEVER make a negative comment to ANYONE - but I would like to suggest, you guessed it, a metronome or drum machine. The metronome is to time as the bow is to intonation. It reveals the absolute truth about what you're doing. Again, not a "criticism" , just a suggestion. Other than that, good goin. Have fun and may the funk be with you.

  • your very good percussion wise but you need to start puttin in more fluid bassy notes in there, but you got an amazing start so don't stop what you'll doin the rest will come naturally, but dont' forget as a bass you supposed to be rhythm and the deep end of the sound
