http://www.guitarprinciples.com When you get the point I am making in this video, and base your practice upon it, you will be opening the door to guitar excellence for yourself. In the first installment of our "Why Do I Suck" we looked at the most pervasive reason why you suck on guitar. It is a situation that makes sure that all the laws of how your fingers learn new movements and develop into "guitar players fingers" are violated as soon as you pick up a guitar or take your first lesson. Unfortunately, virtually every guitar method out there unknowingly participates in propagating this situation, and it is why I have often said that most guitar methods make most people worse on guitar, not better.

So, continuing with this heartening theme, I will now lay out the second reason you suck at guitar. Unlike the first one, this one is commonly spoken of. However, even though good teachers will often warn students of the dangers of this common condition, they rarely get to the heart of the matter in a way that will really benefit the student.
