Leno just does his standup instead of an actual interview. What a fucking fake.

Leno was edgy and sharp back then, 80's was the top of his game. now his tonight show routine is only spinning off the current events with no time to work around them. But the comedy materials in these Letterman interviews has already been honed at comedy clubs before he went on, that's why he seems alot more prepared and confident.

They haven't talked since the early 1990's, when Leno was named Carson's successor. Letterman wanted it.
