Check Yuri Verkhoshansky, Julio Tous and Gerard Moras and Cardinale.
These are eminences in WBV trainning and theirselves are discussing the same as us and "in the best of worlds" advicing the trainning I said.
The next time where you want to call anybody "ignorant" take a mirror please.
My first comment was and advice.
See you.

It was an advice, my friend.
Waste your time in wathever you want and take care about "my finger" instead "the moon" if you can't.
It doesn't shocks me and, honestly, it doesn't care me neither. In the best of scenarios you maybe will not pain a injury using Plates. It seems do you know a lot of their use, of course, but ask yourself about G force.
At Powerplate manual says "constant" but if you have any "common sense" (I'm sure) you will notice that fact is not true.
Put an accelerometer
Mudisticism: It's tempting for someone who doesn't understand the power plate principal to be sceptical. You should try it for 5 minutes before calling it 'senseless'.
The vibrating plate increases drastically the efficiency of any power training: as long as he is touching the plate his muscles never relax, making this a very intense workout.
Thanx for the video and on showing us an original powerplate exercise!

Cheers, thanks for comment and helps me not sound like an arrogant know-it-all, you said pretty much what i would hv said when someone questions the point to power plate training.
Also power training is an often misunderstood concept and the power plate does take a bit of playing around with before its wider applications can be realised.

It has no sense this kind of training.
It could be more useful using the powerplate under a boxing bag and working falling step or push and shuffle.
You could try drop jump + bag kicking for improve speed power.
This oldschool training with new machines is senseless, sorry.
I hope it help you perfomance.

Would like to get my finger out and make a video covering leg exs for boxing with the power plate.
As an exercise tool it can be used to develop power, speed, strength or endurance as well as balance, stability, flexibility, mobility, agility and coordination you just need the commitment to perfect the techniques and then apply the new gains in "fitness" in even more sports specific training.

Your right the power plate could be used in an integrative fashion with more traditional boxing kit but a circuit like i suggested would make sense as a foundation in developing power then combine some of those moves with actual punching then progress to punching/boxing only intervals where the amount of work was high enough and the recovery long enough that power was still being trained otherwise its back to undertraining power and overtraining endurance as happens in many sports.
