She grew up to be the beautiful girl on Pettycoat Junction..a natural beauty

Their family name is MacRae. Thanks for posting this, though. There is a "What's My Line" where Gordon comes as the Mystery Guest when Meredith is a panelist. After she finds out, she shouts "Daddy!" like she is the little girl in this video. There was a special bond between this father and daughter.

@cliffshell Part 2 ...Am I right on that? I DO know that Steve and Billie(when he was falling for her instead of Betty Jo),
sang "Glory Of Love" together. But just before that I could almost swear that "Sisters" was performed by the Bradley daughters with their beautiful voices. Correct me if that's not right, but I believe that's what they sung.

You're right, too. Both movies feature "White Christmas" ( the song), and since I hadn't seen either film in a long time, I just had them mixed up.
But speaking of WHITE CHRISTMAS(the movie), and Meredith MacRae, I could've sworn there was an episode of Petticoat Junction from season 4 in which the Bradley girls(the Linda, Lori, and Meredith lineup) sang the song "Sisters' from WHITE CHRISTMAS followed by a Steve and Billie Jo duet of
"The Glory Of Love"(with Billie on piano). cont.

You're right, Crosby made "Holiday Inn" in '42 with a great Irving Berlin score. Then in 1954, they tried to capitalize on that twelve year old success with a loose remake, called "White Christmas". The latter not as
star-studded or as well produced, but popular nevertheless. It was the '54 movie that gave us "Count Your Blessings"

@cmulwee001 "White Christmas" was first performed by Crosby in '42's "Holiday Inn". In 1954 they remade the movie to a certain extent and it was there that "Counting Your Blessings" hit the screen.

i notice he kissed her on the lips

Not only a looker, but what a voice! I loved whenever she sang on Petticoat Junction! She had a wonderful mezzo-sporano singing voice range She also had a distinct speaking voice, once she says "Hello", you can tell it's her!
-
Cute. I rarely use the term "foxy", but it truly applied to Meredith when she got older. What a looker!

Hard to believe that young lady died so young from cancer.
Has ever the love between father and daughter been more movingly and magically expressed on TV? Simply wonderful.
