@ Bonobo3D Man didn't know about bacteria back when these books were written, and they also didn't understand the washing and cleaning techniques that we have today. Yeah it is pleasurable to wash one's genitals, I don't disagree with that. As far as SAVAGELY attacking an infant's genitals is a statement I find quite humorous, as if people were cutting the arms from babies. I don't cry about it happening to me. Everything works fine. Is your life so sad that you have to pick fights on youtube?

@Jadhapper77 Anyone who thinks that human genitals, (easily reached by the hands even as we age) are in any way difficult to keep clean, is seriously detached from reality. Not only are the genitals easy to keep clean they are pleasurable to wash. Circumcision has never been about hygiene, that's only a pathetic excuse for savagely attacking an infant's genital area and depleting natural form and function.

Combine the excuse of hygiene and supernatural (divine) commandment for a full brainwash.

new testament: circumcision is in the heart, why all this talk of cutting foreskin? its in the heart now. abraham circumcision was a symbol of generational covenant, thats why reproductive organ changed.

What about the female inner and outter labia? That area stays much more moist, has many more folds and flaps of skin, and is much harder to clean than under the foreskin. Maybe we should cut all those lady flaps off eh?

The new testament makes plain in a about a dozen places that physical circumcision is not part of Christianity.

Any credible doctor will tell you circumcision is cleaner than keeping the foreskin on. With foreskin you have more susceptibility for bacteria to form and reproduce.

Rabbi Moses Maimonides:

"The Reason for circumcision is to bring about a decrease in sexual intercourse and a weakening of the organ in question, so that this activity be diminished and the organ be in as quiet a state as possible. The bodily pain caused to that member is the real purpose of circumcision. Violent concupiscence and lust that goes beyond what is needed are diminished. The fact that circumcision weakens the faculty of sexual excitement and diminishes the pleasure is indubitable."
