Nice train, but, why does it have two locomotives, and an extra car after the caboose?

@sorryosaurusrex It needs 2 locos to pull all that wieght. The extra car at the end is under construction and will be put in line when finished. it is easier to remove to be worked on when it is at the end

@singingbirdcages It was fairly widely known at the time. I *think* he may have mentioned it when my mother hired him to do some TV spots for a North Carolina bank - Wachovia, i think - in 1966 or '67.

Wish i'd known that his daughter was working at WRNG radio here in Atlanta the time i was on one of their talk shows; i'd have made it a point to see if i could talk to her and ask her.

Emmett Kelly jr was an opportunistic jerk cashing in on his estranged father's good name.

I'm not sure if he even ever really knew his father.

Kelly sr could have taken legal action to stop him, but neither wanted no needed the bad publicity.

I just found my train set from when I was a kid.. anyone know what it could be worth? It's a Kelly Jr Circus train set
