US Animated Series have been declining for years (in both quality & quality). Similar situation for Britain & Europe (apart from a few notable Series like this one).

In Short: The West needs to get it's act together, after all we did so with Cars (yet another thing the Japanese Eclipsed us in [as far as Reliability & Productivity were concerned]).
