PS3 starts, hard disk spins up, then the console shuts off

Please excuse the video and audio. I bought this PS3 with the intention of fixing it. Clearly, that hasn't happened. I am hoping that someone out there has fixed this type of issue before and can give me a heads up. I swapped out the hard drive, attempted every option in the recovery menu, reflowed the motherboard twice and baked it once. Nothing seems to make a difference, good or bad. It does exactly the same thing it did when I first got it.

UPDATE - While it still doesn't work, apparently cooking the board did fix an issue with the blu-ray drive. Before, when I would start it up, the disc drive wouldn't load a disc and the blue light would flash as though there was a disc inside. Since cooking it, it no longer does that. It will take the disc and start the system, but it still shuts down after a few seconds.

Mine dose that to ihave no disk in the tray. Its bs I refuse to pay $107 bux for a system fail I had nothing to do with update my ass killin of ps3s so we buy new slim ones. They get hot quicker then my fat one :( sonys online is down then my ps3 fucked up right when I get kicked off midnight club la online -_-

this happened to me about 1 month ago, and a staff at the game shop said that a disc or something is stuck inside. i swapped it for another one.

so that may be the problem.

@DBIMwolf it your power cord you can use any computer power cord on the ps3 it works

it power cord or power unit that power cord gos into is bad look online for power unit mine did this too if it power cord use your computer power on your ps3 if it work this is good if not it power unit
