Michael Jackson was filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984 when his hair caught on fire. The footage of Michael Jackson's hair on fire is officially released today. The MJ Pepsi commercial accident occurred when Michael Jackson's hair caught on fire from one of the many special effects featured in the Pepsi commercial. MJ suffered severe burns from the Pepsi accident, which occurred in front of an audience of some 3000 Jackson fans.
