Vaughn Monroe sure did make it look easy, which it certain is NOT. A great singer. Period. There are no more singers like this. Some come a bit close, but no one equals... no one will EVER equal the great Vaughn Monroe.

Vaughn Monroe was a super dreamboat in this video! He was extremely photogenic. His eyes twinkled and sparkled and he just beams. He sang with such intimacy as though he were singing just to you. The song was ultra romantic though not ever well known.Just why I'll never know- it's a jem and Mr. Monroe croons it elegantly and whistfully with so much ardor, verve, and class. The accompaniment is lush and the music is just simply beautiful. I wish they had not deleted the instrumental in between.
