id mix between the shots.. hav th one driving up to him without the hood popping up, then splat on th windscreen but have him jump backwards n land on an out of shot mattress from that shot, then back to the side to see the end of him falling on the floor n rolling a little without the mattress..
however for the first shot i'd record the car screeching to a halt, then separately record him standing there and looking like he's getting hit by it, falling forwards for a second then stitch together
