This is not an STD / STI

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staphylococcus_aureus

UPDATE: I got rid of this by using Chlorhexidine .5% in ethanol 70%. It is a surface disinfectant used in hospitals. I applied it on the infected area 10 to 15 times per day and it was gone in about 2 weeks. Don't pick the scabs as it will last longer. Don't squeeze anything. Also, I stopped all of the antibiotics as they weren't doing anything. I just used the disinfectant. Rubbing alcohol might do the job as well.

Why did I make this video? Because staph infections are really common & I noticed there were no people sharing their experience with it on youtube.

Note: this is not a sexually transmitted disease. It is a bacteria that lives on many people's skin and can become an infection if it gets deep into the skin (such as with the flared up eczema rash I had on my face)

  • I have what at first I assumed it was just razor burn, it dry skin and red in colour , it burn, feels like sunburn, I used petroleum Jelly the rash went away, but came back a 4 days later, so I am using it again!

  • @isamtator petroleum jelly and ointments completely block your pores and will keep any infection in

  • You poor bugger. I have a staph infection that comes and goes in my right ankle. I was very sick a couple months back and I feel over hitting the spot on my shin where the staph is. It went nuts and spread through my foot and started its way up my leg. The quacks put me on staph lex same as you. It didn't do much but it did help. But I developed phemonia and was put on 5000mg keflex 4 times a day. Guess what. It cleared up staph faster than it cleared up

My phemonia. It's completely gone this t

  • I'm not even sure how I got here...

  • one thing that did seem to make a little bit of a difference was using hibiclens, an antimicrobial antiseptic cleanser, i would wash my face and body and it really made a difference and helped with my staph infections, maybe you could give it a try. its a bit pricey but its amazing. try using it for a week and see if that helps you. but male sure you ask ur doctor first to make sure that its ok.

  • I see alot of dislikes and bad comments on this video. Truth is, if people get rid of ignorance then we can know truth. Knowledge is powerful. Some random person would judge this as infested with an STD or side effect from meth, etc. Staph can happen to anyone that has to breathe, as the moist nasal pathways is where it starts it's course. It can enter and attack any exsisting skin disorder (as her dermatitis), any scratch, nick, or even razor bumps. You don't have to be flilthy to contract it.

  • But does it blend?
