Diamond Pushups
Level: Intermediate
Muscles: Pectoralis, Triceps
Equipment: None

Instructions:

Step 1: Position yourself on the ground as if you were doing a regular pushup. Instead of having your hands slightly wider than shoulder width apart, you want to bring both your hands together towards the center of your chest. Now try to form the shape of a diamond with both your index fingers and thumbs connecting from each hand. You want to also maintain a straight and rigid torso.

Step 2: Now all you have to do is lower your chest towards to ground slowly and push back up off the ground and repeat. You can make this exercise harder by elevating your feet with a bench or chair.

Safety Tips:
This exercise is stressful on the wrists. If you have bad wrists we recommend that you skip this exercise all together to avoid injury.

  • @faisy8 Are you letting your muscles recover? If you do it too often, you are not allowing your muscles to rest and heal.

  • these are much easier on your wrists if you do them on your fingertips. in fact, this also makes it easier to keep your elbows in.

  • Holy fuck. I tried doing these push-ups and they are soo hard

  • @YouthHealth2 how long should we rest for the muscle to recover? I want to build my muscle and i am starting off with 20 diamonds (i have done diamonds before, without intention to build muscle)

  • @YouthHealth2 what i meant is cant you really figure out sumtin like that yourself? like i could lift the same amount every day i go to the gym. of course you cant cuz noone is at his full muscle power all the time plus your comment sounds like a show off so thats why im being rude.

  • @Vaginaattori pretty stupid comment
