@YoYoSmileALot yep,不用and 不必means the same literally, but we always use 不用 more often than use 不必 in daily life, the second expression is sort of formal:)

I read in a textbook that you could also say 不必 instead of 不用. I was just wondering if this is true? Is one form more formal than the other?

(Regarding 0:56) Could you also say, "Wo ming tian bu yong gongzuo." I learned "gongzuo" in one of my books.

Yes, you can say that. shang4 ban1 is just a lot more colloquial.
