I'm Mexican and I find this disrespectful. The song is suppose to be in English, I'm open minded. Do not mind gays and feel everyone has rights to do as they wish as long as they do not hurt anyone else. I follow the rules under the constitution to show my patriotism. I always fold the American flag the right way and sing the anthem like it is suppose to be sung and always keep the US flag higher than other when in the country. There needs to be respect to this country by singing thee song right

I think this is so sad that people still feel this way. I am born and raised in the USA. My friend from TX calls me "That damn Yankee" maybe it is my accent or maybe it's because I was born in MA. My family came from Puerto Rico. I was raised by them to respect all. To be proud of my spanish routes and to be proud of my birth country. My family has worked hard to get ahead and they have.

I believe that you should enter this country legally but can also understand why not all do.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau by 2042 whites will be a minority and the Hispanic population will triple. And this does not include future immigrants. The Hispanics who are currently here, most of whom who were born here, have a very high fertility rate. So, as much as you don't like it, the Spanish version of the anthem will be more relevant as the years go by.
