True...but your Marines and army were well trained in the 1700s. our army, navy and marines were just farmers. and they still beat the Royal Marines. Not that im dissing the Royal Marines any one who joins the Marines or any branch of military are brave. and of course if your British your going to think the Royal Marines are the best just like I think the U.S. Marines are the best. But we are all on the same side and are all entitled to our options. But dont dis the U.S. Marines ORAH!

@Darknight3978 correct, i actually believe the sas is the best of the british, but my grandfarther was in the irish feusilires, and my farther was a greek marine,, im quarter english quarter irish n half greek lol :), i repect all armed forces of our allies and enemies and they both put there life on the line to defend there home u less they are fighting a "un-just war"

just a quick story in hong kong 92 or93 me out of okinawa camp schwab and phillipines i met a group of royal marines we were all drunk at a night club when they started yelling god save the queen and i said f**k her i did you want to know the next time you well you probably never will unless it's on you tube or tv they can and will give what they get it was the best night of my life

Ya know it doesnt matter whow young you are old you get or where you happen to be. Marines from WWII to Iraq can sit and talk to one another as if they've known eachother forever ! We can respect eachother becouse we know he has been where I been and faced the same devil and cheated death on some small atol, or a rice paddy, or a dusty ally in Iraq. Diffrent wars but the same courage by the same breed of men ! 87 or 18 we are all brothers from the greates family in the world !
