why is there so many different religions bible versions anyway? The WTBTS calls their a translation? IF the new world translation is a real translation from the old hebrew & greek into the modern english language here in america, they should of put elohim & adonai back in its original text location & not the word jehovah.. They sure did put the word nephlim back into its context at key locations didn`t they?

I'm not defending the WT, but my KJV bible is copyrighted also, and I'm sure you'll find other versions of the bible are too.

@lenzcloth The King James is not copyrighted. The information in the overview of the King James like the Dictionary, maps, and more info etc. is copyrighted, but the biblical text of the King James itself is free. That's why it's the lowest cost of all bibles. Now the Watchtower states they have the truth. If they don't want their CD Library to be seen in Libraries or public, they have something to hide. It will never be open to a non-JW. Everyone knows the King James truth though. :)
