This is an original song, written after I saw David Lindley play upon a bevvy of beautiful Weissenborn guitars (as only he can!) The title popped into my brain--the rest followed at home..I'm no golddigger, so for now, I'm savin' up my pennies:-)

  • Haha,I haven't seen this one before,,you look+sound cool...are you a hippie ?,lol, better not go there,hehe..if you find a sugar daddy will you find me one too...give them a heart attack in 24hrs+run off with their money? what do you say?..love your UK hippie sis.,lol .Miss P,,or is it Miss L or is it S..? big X 2 u from me+Dyl x

  • @MissPandora1967 this one is still a fav of mine too, but very old now...!! I might hafta do a command performance, sometime, for ole times sake......missP, yes, I AM a hippie who doesn't know she is one, i 'spose...living in CA, maybe that's a given...:-) far as Suga daddies go, ..I don't know that many have money to run off with!;-) not that it makes a huge diff,.......LOL.

  • Of course you deserve your weissenborn guitar girl. And a sugar daddy to pamper you and accompany you on all your tours ... it's a cute ditty a la stevie nicks ... continue in this dimension. ..try to pronounce your words I couldn't make out certain line endings... expand on the lyrics.

  • Title born outa seeing a big rack of them--it is out of convenience Mr Lindley does for his performances..all different keys....I started posting the lyrics , later vids, so meanings would not be lost....and helpful too for those speaking another language. thanks for visiting and watching!!you are a true pro, and it is great that you kept your talent "on the track" I had a start in '75, but it was not persued, and so lay dormant many years...:-) a banjo found at a swap meet was my ticket back.

  • Excellent song, singing and playing! Superb performance! Most enjoyed! To my fav's it go's! Cheers!

  • thankyou Ed! glad you enjoyed it--I make myself laugh--that has to be a good thing

  • Hi matt--this funy song was my second upload, I think..I still play it--I'm a bit of a vaudville throwback--TEEHEE..this is open D........I don't venture out of it, cause the strings are pretty heavy...many reso players, especially bluegrassers are playing in key of g......I like the bassy stuff,--key is suited to my vocal range. now and then I seach "open D" and find selections here to jam with, for fun. Thanks again --sorry for late reply! ;-) Laurie
