  • Favorite feature on R2 is the freight train air horn installed in the middle section above the cab. The thing is priceless, however not covered in the vid. Very interesting and informative video though.

  • Amen on Pierce. Just got a new pierce 1 month ago. Nice rig also, Seagrave is a great rig. Strong body, made tough.

  • @redwind661 i love pierce but i also am in a smaller town. for large cities e-one is cost effecrtive and long lastng...i like to think of it as pierce is kinda luxurious and expensive but good while e-one is mass producable and cheaper but well made and built to last..for a big city i would go with e-one pierce mix

  • Sucks the Saulsbury Plant closed, I use to drive past it all the time on my way to Syracuse NY. It was sweet seeing all the new rigs outside.

  • Also all the tools & almost all of the equipment that will be carried by the vehicle must be purchased separately. And the cost of all that gear is probably roughly equal to the cost of the vehicle.

  • The guy at 1:07 looks and talks just like Lt. Johnson from the TV show Third Watch...wow, its almost scary! Great video!

  • Only the truck chassis is E-One. They got the best built body available Saulsbury Fire Apparatus. An E-One body would never hold up for the FDNY.

  • E-ONE sucks ass as bad as any apparatus in the world. Check Pierce if you wanna great rigg!!!

  • Strength and Honor

    Keep Em Rollin

  • those things cost A LOT of money a pumper ranges from 100,000 to 1 million dollars depending on the quality you dont want to know about ladders and rescue trucks
