Esta del video se grabó en Sun Studios en 1957 y viene en Country Boy, el 2º CD del Boxset (3 CD's) "Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Two: The Sun Years". "Wide Open Road" es del 1º CD de esta caja y sale 3 veces en el CD, una versión demo, una toma alternativa y la toma final. La versión que te mando aquí, la escogí porque se supone generalmente que el guitarrista de la steel es A.W. "Red" Kernodle en su única grabación con la banda. Sus nervios pudieron con él y dejó la banda, que entonces pasó a llamarse Tennessee Two hasta la incorporación de W.S. "Fluke" Holland en Agosto de 1960, que hizo que fueron otra vez The Tennessee Three. Ambas canciones las escribió Johnny Cash."
