Japanese pronunciation is alot different from the english vowels we use . Some of the Alphabet letters dont exist in tha Japanese Culture such as V , X etc . Therefore its difficult for them to Pronounce some letters .

You can't really blame them. Japanese is very different from Tagalog or Swedish or a lot of other languages. It uses different characters than most languages, and they have to deromanize Japanese or romanize English to read. They have to get used to our romanization of letters and such.
If you want to come here to experience this lifestyle and just enjoy a culture completely different to your own, then I'd say come on over. But, if you use JET as a way of satifying your ambitions with the need to change things for the better, then coming to work here will most certainly 'do your head in'.

The situations can vary quite differently for every JET. I had a main (base school) which was a junior high school, another junior high, and 5 elementary schools where I had to go according to my schedule. We are assistants 'facilitating the education of the English language'.

The public education system in Japan integrate us JETs by placing us in a town or city, and then that town or city controls what tasks we are required to perform on a day to day basis. The most common scenario is where city requires the JET to attend one or multiple schools, whether it be elementary, junior high, or senior high school.

A couple questions for you Mr. Puck, one is why is that girl wearing a mask on her face, second where exactly are you beacuse I have heard that some schools treat their english teachers like slaves(No after school interaction with students, pay is rediculus) and lastley what exactly do you do? I must say though it looks like alot of fun. Im interested in doing what your doing.

Yes, if you are a PRIVATE ALT, then, chances are, you will be treated like shit, because you work for a company rather than being employed directly by the Japanese government. They can't really fuck with you if you are a JET, if they do, it looks bad for them because you are an employee of the same company 'the government'.

But, yea, as a private ALT, you can be sacked quite easily, you get paid quite little, and the companies can be quite unreliable.
