Air resistance to a moving object explained. The aerodynamics of birds, wind-tunnels to help design airplanes, etc. A clever device using water and aluminum powder is used to show bad and ideal shapes to reduce drag. The resulting aerodynamic cars of 1936 look very dated now. As do the imaginations of the torpedo cars of the future. Still a good explanation that is relevant to now and tomorrow. Produced by the Handy Jam Organization....sponsored by Chevrolet. Also from the Prelinger Collection. I altered the sound and picture to improve it slightly.
