New continuing legal education (CLE) rules took effect in Kansas on July 1, 2011. In this webinar Shelley Sutton, Executive Director of the Kansas CLE Commission, reviewed the rules specifically for providers of CLE in Kansas. Specifically, Ms. Sutton discussed four major areas of rules changes: 1) instructional or written materials; 2) non-traditional programming; 3) ethics and professionalism credit; and 4) law practice management. In addition, she talked about the administrative side of offering CLE credit for attorneys licensed in Kansas-- what is the process and what is on the horizon? Ms. Sutton also answered questions from the audience. Further questions about this topic can be e-mailed to cleadmin@kscle.org. The video was recorded at Washburn University School of Law on January 4, 2012.
