Idiotic statement about Petrucci and feeling. Yes, this is from 2 years ago from when I'm commenting now, but fuck, go listen to Hollow Years, Lines in the Sand solo, Glasgow Kiss from his solo album. Petrucci can be a master of feeling just as well as he can shred. You cannot base your opinion of John Petrucci on his shredding alone, you just end up making yourself look silly.

With Tone Zone pickups, scary fingers, three differents delay, and a guitar that doesn't exist anymore.

And a Paf pro in the neck position, but it is not the pickup he uses for that sound.

I love Shawn Lane's playing so much, it's so awe inspiring.

As far as his speed goes though, what I love about it (as demonstrated in this video) is that all his fast licks sound like they are impossible to play on a guitar.

Truly one of the best guitar players that ever lived.
