    dropped racking hose on the floor, put back in bucket, buddy drops cig smoke ashes in bucket, guy mashes yeast prep through funnel into carboy - almost uses his friends pen!!

  • I wonder how much meth was consumed during this filming.

  • I agree with mnlaxer, each yeast has a different direction on how to heat the water to pitch it, for pitching yeast for beer on the other hand, if you pitch it anywhere warmer between 70-80 degrees the yeast will die

  • You are making it difficult, one you forgot to mention sterilization, two pitching the yeast is easier to do in the fermenting bucket, and three you don't rack the must until after a week or two, my suggestion is to read on how to do it or get someone to help you who has made Meade before

  • Good information. Next time you are filming please turn off the TV.

  • You say that if you pitch the yeast above 90 deg it will kill the yeast. I am going to call BS on that one since you are supposed to rehydrate the yeast between 104 and 109 deg F. What say you to that?
