While Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi railed against the Bush Administration for using enhanced interrogation techniques on terror detainees, she seemed to have conveniently forgotten that she was briefed on the use of waterboarding way back in 2002. When news of the briefing became public in 2009, Pelosi charged the CIA with lying, but was refuted by Obama-appointed CIA director Leon Panetta.

Actually, the thing is... its very sensitive information... she has to make sure to say things that aren't classified, hence why she went back to her statements. Also, if you've ever watched TPMTV and their 100 seconds videos, you'd know they cut out all the stuff that isn't talk to fit info into the 100seconds. I think that determining who is lying here is much more important than partisan posturing.
After all, lying to Pelosi is lying to the American people. If Pelosi is lying, so what? She gets replaced. That's hardly the threat to liberty that an extremely powerful government institution is lying to somebody who is third in line for the presidency.
One more thing: how, exactly is the Republican slime machine "literally" a "well-oiled machine"?
