One approach to learning all 40 2d club patterns
(with a 1:1 ratio of hand circles to club circles, also known as "minimal beat").
6 prop facings, 2 directions for the hands to travel around their circle, and 4 antispin/spin combinations.
6x2x4 = 48, though 8 of those 48 are the same presentation as 8 others, leaving only 40 distinct patterns.
The notation used does not include club timing/direction, which is the same as the hand timing/direction for basic patterns, but always a different timing/direction for the 24 hybrids.
Also, this entire process can be oriented horizontally rather than vertically, with the same results. One club in/one club out combined with the 4 spin combinations will always produce 4 patterns, while both clubs in or out only 3.
Hope you enjoy!
