Jack joker seemed more creepy and a mixture of the Cartoon joker the comic Joker and Live action show Joker. The Ledger Joker seems a lot more scary and a mixture of the All the past jokers before him and when you listen to the Ceaser romero laugh and then his laugh they kinda sound the same

Ledger's Joker is too new millenium. Nicholson is more 1930s Batman. They are way too different to compare.

I think both Jokers (Nicholson and Ledger) fit well in the type of movie they were in. Batman was going more for a comic-y feel and The Dark Knight was going for a more realistic/scary feel, so you can't really compare them.

Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson? It's hard to say.
