  • svo don't do it.

  • @circusboy90210 If you don't mine $4/gallon for fuel, by all means, don't convert to SVO. Our customers save thousands of dollars each day and have lessened their dependency on foreign oil. Feel free to visit our website if you'd like to learn more about SVO.

  • I'm just curious if it will shorten the life of your vehicle. I have an old VW Jetta Diesel that i love and would love even more if i could do this. Does it shorten the life of the vehicle at all? and does it make for more maintenance? Also do you sell movie/books on how to alter your vehicle to give it the ability to also run on vegetable oil? We have 3 diesels we would love to do this with.

  • @MissEarthChild As long as you have a good SVO system and properly filter your oil, your car will have no more problems than it would running on diesel. That being said, because you're installing additional components on your vehicle, you will have more components to diagnose when something goes wrong. Our systems are designed with several features to help you determine if you're having a veggie related issue or if it's related to your stock fuel system. Visit our website for more info :)

  • @urbex2007 We have thousands of customers who would beg to differ with you. As long as you properly filter your oil you'll have no problems. We've converted thousands of vehicles to run on vegetable oil, some have over half a million miles on veggie. We've personally bought brand new vehicles from dealerships and informed them we'd be converting them to run on vegetable oil and they honored the warranties. It depends on the dealership so just ask.

  • @GoldenFuelSystems Yes, and knacker your fuel pumps and injectors due to lack of lubrication. You can run vegetable oil in an older Volvo, but not in modern cars. It absolutely ruins the pumps, fuel lines, pumps and filters, also injectors. I fix enough of them and on some newer ones the warranty is void.

  • No you don't, the core engine itself stays the same, you're simply adding a parallel axillary fuel system. So essentially you'll have your old stock system and a switch that can flip over to the heated vegetable oil side. You don't lose your ability to burn diesel, you simply gain the ability to run on waste vegetable oil.

  • do i have to modify my engine to use veg. oil?

  • Purchase the Liquid Gold DVD from our website and it will answer all of your Veggie oil gathering questions :)

    Good luck!

  • i'm trying to run my diesel on vege oil but before i start, i want to secure an oil source. I haven't been able to since all the chinese resturants that i go to have some company that already takes it away. Where should i go to next? is it worth giving mcdonalds a try, but i don't know if their oil is the same quality of the chinese resturants. what should i do?
