Master Chief is Arbiter (FAL)?
Im finding out more than enough.
The Brutes are the same as FAL who is Sangheili, an alien tribe/clan or society as species. The Brutes are a similiar race as the Elites but they evolved and became far more stronger.

Halo: Reach was set before Halo: Combat Evolved. The chief was on the vessel you had to save while you stayed behind on Reach using the rail gun. The events of Reach led up to the first halo game. That's why chief wasn't in Halo: Reach. He and Cortana were on board the Autumn (the ship you were protecting).
