Phil helps social workers Tom and Julie Pickup trade in Manchester for Melbourne.
Tom and Julie tired of life in rainy Manchester and applied for their visas without ever having been to Australia. As social workers the application was successful, and they handed in their notice and headed for the sun - Tom left his work at lunchtime and was on the plane by 5pm. Tom and Julie are currently renting a house near the beach with their two young kids, but are keen to put down roots.
Phil's wife is from Melbourne, and he has an extensive knowledge of the local property market. But while Phil may have a great selection of properties up his sleeve, it's going to be a tough job getting Tom and Julie to make a decision.
Phil also meets a Brit couple who bought a Melbourne bakery over four years ago without any previous experience in catering.
In a regular feature Phil investigates the `Skilled Occupation List'. This time he meets a British vet who came over to be one of only three specialist animal cardiologists in the country. But working in Australia means that there are more than just cats and dogs coming into the surgery each day, as Phil finds out when he gets to grips with a ringtail possum.
Plus Phil gives his personal guide to the property hot spots in Melbourne. His inside knowledge turns up some really surprising properties.

If they don't like rain going to Melbourne isn't going to be the solution. ANd don't expect to go in the water it's freezing. Should've chosen Queensland.
