@GERATMO Temporary jobs were not the goal. The goal was that people get some money out of those temporary jobs, spend it on businesses which will allow them to hire more permanent jobs. It isn't too hard to comprehend, and saying the goal was to make temporary jobs is just saying you don't actually know it was. The only failure was it wasn't big enough.

More Government is what got us INTO this problem, and... Ron Paul's plan of LESS Government is going to save us one TRILLION in the first year.
That's only the start.
What we need is less of the same things that got us into this problem.

@Jusoon I never said it hurt job creation. What I said was that Cenk engaged in falty reasoning, similar to "I washed my car, and then it rained... Only an idiot would suggest the washing didn't cause the rain!"

This comentator is an idiot. The stimulus created temporary jobs at the cost of nearly $1 trillion dollars. And if you would do a little research, you would see some of the rediculus things my tax dollars were spent on. Now here we are broke as hell, unemployment higher than before the first stimulus and Obama is going for round two of basically the same stimullus with a different name. Liberal economics at its best!
