  • dood do u pass smog?

  • Haven't taken it to smog yet. Every component is smog legal however, so only time will tell. I even had the cam made to be able to pass smog.

  • how many horsepower you to get by 347 stroker? and That modification is made ?

  • 383RWHP/398RWTQ.. It's all about getting the components right. There are many 347 stroker kits available. Check out some online sites like summit or jegs. You can buy a whole stroker kit. You will just need a machine shop to bore the block to match the new pistons.

  • hey what have you done for your fuel system and any tuning done yet

  • Fuel system is stock besides a new walbro 255 pump. And yes it has been tuned, the car made 383RWHP/398RWTQ. These numbers were made before the custom cam though. I feel it is over 400 at the wheels now.

  • @Welshinski stroekd is when the shorten the or make rods longer and bore the block and change cranks. whne this is done its got more cubic inches

  • I love that license plate

  • @Noslo5pointoh what is the lift on that cam?

  • I love the license plate - brilliant! (especially considering it's not a 5.0 anymore) nice!

  • Sounds like that cam has some nice manners, well done FTI. Is this the street sweeper series?

  • no problem man im still trying to learn as much as I can about Fords. I learn something everyday.

  • thanks man for takin the time to write that out appreciate it

  • basically making the pistons travel distance bigger in turn you need a larger crank, so you basically add some displacement to your motor which in turn gives you more torque. in this case you take the crank and rods out of a 351 motor and shave them down to fit into the 302 block. i believe the crank is shaved down to 3.4" and the rods are about 5.4", and i think you can even squeeze over 355 ci out of a 302 but it would just wear out too quickly.

  • what does stroked mean ?? tryin to learn everything i can

  • @WildTrikes no fucking shit, running open side pipes would be a lot louder. doenst take a genius to figure that out.

Oh I forgot, your still in school with shop teachers so you wouldnt know
