  • @saamuel101 This is not accurate.Upper caste hindus??.NO way!!.Too little research put into this. You wonder why your name is Samuel ?? ,and most of us have ISraelite names?..wonder why Jesus told the disciples GO and preach to the lost sheep of Israel?..and is it surprisign that Thomas came to Malabar?.Out of the upper class hindus is such a bogus claim and is an abuse on the heritage of the Nasrani Menorah, the liturgy, the Jewish pessahah and everything that we stand for!!.

  • These are True Christians, Long live the original Christians of India- Malankara Orthodox Christians, Jacobite Syrian Christians, Knanaya Jacobites, Syro Malabar Catholics, Knanaya Catholics, Syro Malankara Catholics, and Marthoma Christians. Nasrani Unity

  • God Bless

  • @oofeewise Yes,converted into Christianity.

  • @ORTHODOXPRIDE No,not all Syrian Christians are Orthodox.Syrian Christian -the name is because the syro malabar church uses Syriac/Armaic as its officially liturgy. How Armaic?.Because most of the church is a result of Jewish settlers marrying Keralite woman from the time Solomons temple.Thomas came and he preached the gospel-not orthodoxy or Catholicism. On later influence Syro Malabar churches absorbed in orthodoxy,Catholicism,Stand alonism etc...all with the common Jewish ancestory.

  • these are not correct. the thing is that the syrian christan in kerala follow some things of the cultur from hindus such us the flag mast and some sort of paintings but ther worship is belongs to the hewbru christans ( or the syrians or the arramins)85 to 90 % of the syrian christans Qurbono belongs to the hewbrus from assria on that time or from the antokiya. so you need to say you done some misticks tks

  • The church that you see from 2:53 onwards to 3:07 and 3:20 to 3:46 IS the Diara Chapel [St. Stephen's Mount Tabor Diara Church] in Pathanapuram. Don't argue - because I used to live in pathanapuram and was/am a member of that church. May be the person who wrote the title meant to say that the church was being depicted in some parts of the video!

  • Jesus was of the Israelites .. Banu Israel, or what ppl call em Jews .. There was christians, but no christianity

  • Pathanpuram isnot the origin of Christians in Kerala/Malabar.Pathanapuram is place in Kollam (dt) and until1900 A.D. it was known as Kattupathanapuram as it was forest area. There is no Pathanapuram ritual. The syrian Christian follow the rites of Syrian Church. When apostle Thomas Came in India there were Jews in Kerala especially on Malabar cost. This vedeo is abusing the Syrian Christian In Kerala rather than explaining the significance of Liturgy and worship.Let them learn culture of east!

  • This Vedeo Is Misleading as It does not cotain the real facts or truth Somebody is trying to tarnish faith/traditionthe original christians in Kerala. The tradtions are from Syria or from Judaism.Refer The Old testament and Jerusalem temple constuction and the laws given to Isreal about tabernacle.levictus priest hood ,and the feasts of israel. without knowing the traditions soome people quote something from Western Christianity after the reformation in Europe
