@toiletsrus Also consider that the NHL was the 3rd largest league in North America in the mid 90's. The league was damaged by poor expansion decisions - some of which are just being fixed. Hockey is the fastest growing sport in the USA today amongst youth, which indicates where it will stand in the next generation.

The NHL is far more niche than a sport like Football and Baseball, but not as a result of entertainment by marketability (either by campaigns or the actual product). The NHL is niche because you have a small number of people growing up playing the sport considering price points.

The fact that you are implying the NHL "doesn't have fans" is absolutely ridiculous, and the fact that you don't think there are personalities sums up your credibility.
